We perform heavy civil and landscape construction work with a focus on quality, reliable project execution, and strong working relationships.Responsibilities<ul><li>Support safety planning and implementation across multiple active construction job sites</li><li>Develop and maintain project-specific safety plans, including job hazard analyses, site logistics planning, and hazard mitigation measures</li><li>Work with project managers, superintendents, and field crews to incorporate safety requirements into daily operations and project planning</li><li>Conduct routine site audits, safety inspections, and incident investigations</li><li>Support compliance with OSHA, Cal/OSHA, and company safety standards</li><li>Identify jobsite risks and help develop practical, field-ready solutions</li><li>Lead safety meetings, onboarding, and training for employees and subcontractors</li><li>Track safety metrics, maintain required documentation, and support continuous improvement efforts</li><li>Assist with preconstruction planning, risk analysis, and operational safety coordination</li><li>Communicate clearly with field teams and leadership regarding safety priorities, corrective actions, and project needs</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>5 or more years of experience in construction safety, engineering, project management, or a related role</li><li>Experience supporting heavy civil construction, excavation, landscape construction, or similar field operations</li><li>Knowledge of OSHA and Cal/OSHA safety requirements</li><li>Ability to work effectively with field crews, project teams, and company leadership</li><li>Strong problem-solving, organizational, and documentation skills</li><li>Ability to walk jobsites and respond to field conditions in real time</li><li>OSHA 30 certification</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>OSHA 500, OSHA 510, CHST, or related safety credential</li><li>Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Safety, or a related field</li><li>Experience with incident investigations, safety training, and preconstruction risk planning</li></ul>Compensation and Benefits<ul><li>Base salary range: $100,000 - $150,000 annually, based on experience</li><li>401(k) with company match</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Paid holidays&nbsp;</li></ul>Work Environment<ul><li>Field-based role supporting multiple active construction sites</li><li>Regular walking of jobsites and coordination with field personnel</li><li>Combination of field work, documentation, meetings, and operational planning</li></ul>ApplyCandidates with experience in construction safety, field operations, and project coordination are encouraged to apply.
