We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Estimator/Take-off Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will support the estimating team by preparing accurate material take-offs, assisting with bids, and contributing to project planning efforts. You will also collaborate closely with the project managers and field staff to ensure smooth operations from pre-construction to project completion.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform material take-offs using HCSS, Agtek, and Procore
  • Assist with bid preparation and provide accurate estimates
  • Collaborate with project managers and estimators to optimize project efficiency
  • Help track and report on project costs, material needs, and timelines
  • Ensure accurate documentation and filing of project-related information from bid to project start.
  • Communicate with field staff and suppliers to ensure project needs are met on time
  • Contribute to maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Gather material quotes and competitive subcontractor quote

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years in construction estimating or related field
  • Proficiency with HCSS, Agtek, and Procore preferred
  • A background in construction management or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are encouraged to apply, but not required
  • General construction experience a plus
  • Non-smoking applicants only

Compensation and Benefits

  • Full time position
  • Competitive pay at $90,000 to $130,000 annually, plus bonuses.
